Privacy Policy
Template — not legal advice. The operator must review and complete this policy (controller identity, legal bases, retention periods, data transfer mechanisms, regional rights such as GDPR/CCPA) before public launch, and keep it consistent with the Google Play Data safety form.
What we collect
- Account data: name, username, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Profile and content: bio, profile and cover images, posts, comments, likes, follows, live chat messages, reports and blocks.
- Live streams: stream titles and timing, and which streams you watched. Live video and audio are relayed through our video provider (LiveKit) and are not recorded by this service.
- Technical data: IP address and device information in server logs, used for security and abuse prevention.
- Advertising: the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect device identifiers and usage data to show and measure ads, subject to your consent choices where required. See Google's policy: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
How we use it
To provide the service, show content to the people you share it with, keep the community safe (moderation, abuse prevention), send account emails such as password resets, and show ads.
Image privacy
Uploaded photos are re-encoded on our servers, which removes embedded metadata such as GPS location.
Your choices
- Edit your profile and notification preferences in Settings.
- Hide your profile from search (“Discoverable” setting).
- Block other users and limit who can comment on your posts.
- Delete your account in Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, posts, comments, likes, follows, messages and uploaded media.
